I am a 30+ year veteran of I.T who recently ended a short career in Social Media. I was the Director of Operations at Social Media Group in Dundas, ON, from February 2008 to January 2010 and loved every minute of it. I am still fascinated by the promise of social media but, as a baby boomer, need to relate it to what I know to be able to understand it. I love jazz and often find myself trying to frame issues in the context of the music. I think we can learn a lot from jazz and the people who have been instrumental in the evolution of the genre.

These are my thoughts and opinions, they do not represent the views of my former employer or our clients. They will at times be completely self-indulgent, but maybe, every now and then, they’ll strike a chord and start an interesting and meaningful discussion.
